Travelling by car
As the hotel is located in a quiet, pedestrian area on the lakeside promenade, where can I park my car?
We have parking spaces or parking in garages available and you can reserve them when you book your room:
- Reserved and guaranteed parking space for your entire stay. (not guarded) The space is numbered and accessible only with open chains.
- Covered garage inside the hotel. Places are LIMITED and in a row. It is compulsory to leave your car keys at reception. * If the car is locked, the maximum waiting time is 10 minutes.
- Large covered garage 200 metres from Hotel Kriss, unattended.
- Free access with remote control (deposit Euro 30). Places are LIMITED.
Please remember to give us your number plate so that we can ensure free access to the pedestrian zone.
How can I get to the hotel without a car?
We usually organize transfers to/from Verona and Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport or Milan and from Peschiera d/G and Verona Porta Nuova railway stations.
Please advise us of your flight/train details when booking.
Fares vary at weekends and during evening hours.
My arrival will be on a market day, how can I get to the hotel?
From 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on market days the access road is closed 50 meters before the hotel, so you can only proceed on foot. Reserve a place in our garage 200 meters away.
My departure will be on a market day, how can I get there without any problems?
From 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on market days the road is closed 50 meters, so you can only proceed on foot. Reserve a place in our garage 200 meters away on your arrival.
I am travelling with my electric car, will I be able to recharge it?
Certainly, we offer two three-phase recharging stations directly in the facility reserved for guests where they can recharge their vehicles in comfort (subject to availability and payment)
I have a boat can I take it to Lake Garda?
Yes, the most beautiful lake in Italy can be experienced with your own sailing or motorboat.
Two Buoys are available with a daily supplement of € 25,00. The Buoys are located in the first row, we are organized with a tender to reach it.
Trolley depot € 20.00 per day, subject to availability at our depot.
Would you like to book a boat? Book directly on the Boat Garda website, it is located right next to our beach.
- How far is it to the town center, with the harbor and shops?
The hotel is located in a quiet, lakefront area, just a 7-minute walk from the historic center of Bardolino. In addition, the area is pedestrianized for the majority of the walking distance.
Wellness and Cycling
I am travelling with my bike, where can I keep it during my stay?
We have a fully equipped Bike Room free of charge where you can park your bike, recharge it if E-bike and do minor maintenance (inflate the tyres).
Forgotten it at home? No problem, we have bikes for hire, both city bikes and E-bikes.
I would like to rent a bicycle; do you have this service?
Various types of rental bicycles are available.
E-bikes, available at a cost of €45 for the whole day or €30 for ½ day
New City Bikes, available at a cost of €15 for the whole day.
Do you have a gym and treatment facilities?
We have a well-equipped fitness room and can organize massages and wellness treatments for you (reservation required).
Massages can be performed in our fitness center, as well as in your own room. Please inform the reception desk.
Is there a sauna in the hotel?
Our Junior Suite Panorama on the third floor with a breathtaking lake view and side balcony is the only one with a private "Hydrosoft" sauna, a special type of tropical infrared sauna.
Does the hotel have a swimming pool?
The hotel is situated on the lakefront with private access to the beach and jetty, and on the terrace on the fourth floor we have an outdoor Whirlpool
Beach service
Does the hotel have a beach? Is it necessary to make a reservation?
There is a private lakefront beach and jetty with umbrellas and sunbeds available for guests (subject to availability). It is not possible to reserve sunbeds.
There is a bar-restaurant service directly on the beach from 12 noon to 6 p.m.
Are beach towels provided or do we have to bring them from home?
Towels are provided when you arrive in your room, please reuse them as much as possible throughout your stay to help us pollute the environment less.
The bag in which they are contained can be a souvenir for you to take home at the end of your stay at a cost of €15.
Guests with reduced mobility
I am a guest with reduced mobility, can I access the hotel without any problems?
The hotel embraces the "WITHOUT BARRIERS" concept, so you can access all areas of the hotel from street level.
We have special accommodation available: BACK STYLE ROOMS specially created to meet the needs of all guests with disabilities.
Can I comfortably reach the hotel by car, if so is there a car park reserved for the disabled?
The hotel has free reserved parking for disabled people, located in the immediate vicinity of the lift that will take you comfortably to your room, without any architectural barriers.

I want to take my dog with me on holiday, are animals accepted?
Certainly, all small dogs weighing up to 10 kg are welcome in our hotel.
They will have access to all common areas except the inside area of the breakfast room (for hygienic reasons).
A small cleaning fee of €20 per night is charged.
I have booked a room without a balcony, will it be possible to upgrade?
Subject to availability we can also check prior to your arrival if it is possible to upgrade the room type you have booked.
I follow a special diet, can I find suitable products?
Certainly, please let us know your specific requirements at the time of booking. At breakfast we will provide you with a choice of gluten-free, lactose-free or vegetarian products as required.
We are travelling with our baby who is only a few months old, can we bring our own cot?
For our baby guests we have a cot and highchair available in the hotel, to make your stay easier, and a changing table if the room is not yet available
I am travelling for a special occasion, can I celebrate it with you?
Certainly, let reception know if it is a special birthday or anniversary. We can have fresh flowers, bottles of wine, balloons or cakes made by our Chef Oriella in your room or on the terrace. Please enquire at reception.
I can no longer go can I cancel my holiday?
Cancellation up to 7 days prior to arrival: free cancellation and no charge. 6 to 3 days prior to arrival: 50% of the stay (minimum one night) will be charged,
2 to 1 days prior to arrival: 70% of the stay (minimum one night) will be charged,
In case of cancellation or changes made after this deadline or in case of no-show or early departure, 100% of the cost of the stay is charged.
Visitor's tax is never included in the room total, it is payable locally in cash.
Do I have to pay a deposit to confirm my stay?
When confirming your room we ask for a valid credit card as a guarantee, no amount will be taken. If you do not have a credit card, please inform the reception, the room will be confirmed by paying Euro 200,00 by bank transfer.
- Do you provide a hotel laundry service for my business trip?
When you stay at the hotel on long trips, you can wash your laundry in the hotel, dry it and we provide an iron for tidier looks.
Restaurant and bar service
Is it possible to have lunch or dinner at the hotel?
The hotel has a BISTROT service available every day from 12 noon to 6 p.m., offering a wide choice of dishes, including some typical local dishes or simple snacks.
Guests can choose whether to pay directly at the hotel or to charge their room bill, settling then conveniently at the end of their stay.
We do not have dinner service, but we are located in the immediate vicinity of the center. Our staff will be able to advise you on the best option for you and reserve you a table.
Do you have a bar service?
Of course, our table service bar is available from morning breakfast until 23.00, on the beach from 12.00 to 18.00
Early check in and Late check out
I arrive early in the morning; will I find my room ready?
Rooms are guaranteed from 14.30 onwards.
Subject to availability and subject to confirmation by the hotel, it will be possible to take possession of your room earlier than the classic "EARLY CHECK IN" time for an extra charge of €30.
Otherwise, you can deposit your luggage and go to the beach.
Can I stay in my room longer than the check-out time?
According to availability and subject to confirmation by the hotel, you can request the "LATE CHECK OUT" service, this service has an extra cost of €50.
The service can only be requested during the morning of departure to verify its feasibility.
At guests' disposal we have luggage storage and a courtesy room free of charge, where it is possible to freshen up or take a shower on the day of check-out when the room is no longer available.
